Dance at Sunrise

This course is built on state dance education standards and is designed to challenge students to grow as both artists and performers. Students refine their technique, explore multiple forms of dance, including ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary, and develop their own creative voice through improvisation and choreography.

Company members have the opportunity to perform in the Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, participate in district and state festivals, and learn directly from dance professionals. Beyond performance, students deepen their understanding of the art form through choreography projects, writing, and dance analysis.

The RISE Dance Company emphasizes collaboration, discipline, and artistry. Students demonstrate strong academics and commitment to the company, all while contributing to a positive and supportive environment. By the end of the year, students not only expand their technical and creative abilities but also build teamwork, confidence, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the stage.
